    All rocks on earth are radioactive, and scientists claim they contain radioactive isotopes left over from the remnants of the origin of the universe. This radioactivity can generate power if we concentrate these natural isotopes and put them in a reactor.

    Nuclear Power generation has two great advantages:  1. It does not directly produce carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases.  Mining of uranium does require energy, however, so that process could add greenhouse gases.  2. It has a very favorable energy density.

    Major problems come from the issues of radioactive waste and safety.
