Two (2) volcano-tectonic earthquakes, with focal depths in the range 1 - 3 km, were located overnight: one in the Paradise Estate area and the other just north of Roche's Yard. Five (5) long-period events occurred which were recorded at most seismic stations. Broadband tremor continued intermittently and at variable amplitude, with relatively higher amplitude levels being recorded during the periods 21:00 - 22:00 on December 30 and 02:00 - 04:00 on December 31. This tremor was still only recorded on the Gages seismic station and is most probably due to increased steam emission from the crater area. A relatively large regional event was recorded at 20:30 yesterday evening but its precise magnitude and location cannot be calculated with the local seismic network data alone.
