One (1) volcano-tectonic earthquake was located overnight beneath the Soufriere Hills volcano at a depth of about 1 km. Four (4) long-period events occurred which were recorded at most seismic stations. The broadband tremor which started yesterday continued at variable amplitude but was still only recorded on the Gages seismic station.
None of the EDM lines measured yesterday showed any change.
A very small ash cloud, probably triggered by a rock avalanche, was observed at about 17:30 yesterday drifting over Gages towards the west and probably deposited a light sprinkle of ash in some of the western communities.
