Three (3) volcano-tectonic earthquakes were located overnight: two beneath the Soufriere Hills volcano and one in the Long Ground area. These earthquakes had focal depths in the range 0 - 5 km. Six (6) long-period events occurred which were recorded at most seismic stations. Several smaller long-period events are still being recorded at the Gages seismic station but at rate and amplitude levels lower than previously reported.
EDM data acquired yesterday were processed overnight: results indicate that changes from the last measurements are small and within the accuracy of the technique.
