Activity has been at a low level during the past twenty-four hours. 13 rockfall signals were recorded and there was one period of ash and steam venting at 2:22 am this morning. This resulted in light ashfall to the west and north west of the volcano reaching as far north as Woodlands. A new pyroclastic flow deposit, possibly associated with this event was observed today in the upper part of the Gages valley.
Residents of Montserrat are advised to keep listening to ZJB Radio Montserrat for information in case of any changes in the state of the volcano.
