The level of activity at the volcano increased slightly today, but is still very low. 24 rockfall signals and 8 volcano-tectonic earthquakes were recorded.
The sulphur dioxide was flux was measured this morning by COSPEC. The flux remains quite high, with a value of 1115 tonnes per day.
Residents of Montserrat are advised to keep listening to ZJB Radio Montserrat for information in case of any changes in the state of the volcano.
