Activity at the Soufriere Hills volcano remains low. There were 15 rockfalls, 1 hybrid earthquake and 1 long period earthquake in the last 24 hours. There were also three episodes of volcanic tremor at 1751 yesterday evening, 0024 and 0859. The tremor episodes were all preceded by moderate rockfall signals and accompanied by a period of ash venting. In each case the tremor lasted for approximately 20 minutes.
Residents of Montserrat are advised to keep listening to ZJB Radio Montserrat for information in case of any changes in the state of the volcano.
