Report for the period 5 p.m. 3 December to 5 p.m. 4 December 1998

In the last 24 hours the seismic networks recorded 21 rockfall signals
and 18 volcano-tectonic earthquakes.

Data from the GPS occupation at Tar River were processed today.  The
site is moving in a very similar manner to the site at Long Ground.

Residents of Montserrat are advised to keep listening to ZJB Radio
Montserrat for information relating to any further developments in the
state of the volcano.
