This morning at 8:21 there was a collapse down the Tar River Valley and into the White River. The pyroclastic flow reached the sea down the Tar River Valley and as far as where Galways Soufriere used to be down the White River. The resulting ash cloud reached to above 10,000 feet and drifted West, no ash fall was reported north of Belham. Otherwise there were 19 rockfall signals and 5 volcano-tectonic events recorded over the last 24 hours.
Residents of Montserrat are advised to keep listening to ZJB Radio Montserrat for information relating to any further developments in the state of the volcano.
