The level of volcanic activity has remained low. A total of 12 rockfalls and 25 volcano-tectonic earthquakes were recorded by the seismic network in the past 24 hours.
Low cloud has masked the volcano all day so that no observations were made of the dome. Attempts to make COSPEC measurements by helicopter and boat were thwarted by thick cloud and high swells respectively.
Residents of Montserrat should continue to check Radio ZJB in case of sudden developments in the state of the volcano.
