The volcano continued to be quiet over the past 24 hours, with only 3 rockfall signals recorded by the seismic network.
Gas measurements are being made over the next few days with an experimental instrument which will be able to give scientists more information about the types and amounts of gases still coming from the volcano. The COSPEC instrument will continue in use to measure sulphur dioxide, although no measurements were made today.
Residents should continue checking Radio Montserrat in case there are sudden developments in the state of the volcano.
