The level of volcanic activity at the volcano was low today. There were 7 rockfall signals, 10 volcano-tectonic earthquakes and 3 long period earthquakes over the last 24 hours. There were two teleseismic events (distant earthquakes). One of the rock falls this afternoon was observed to result in heavy ash fall over the Plymouth area.
Dust levels were not measured today.
Residents should continue listening to Radio Montserrat in case there are sudden developments in the state of the volcano.
