Activity at the volcano has been at a low level during the past 24 hours. 16 rockfall signals and 7 volcano-tectonic earthquakes were recorded by the seismic stations.
A regional seismic event was recorded at 5:28 this morning. A solution received from the Seismic Research Unit in Trinidad indicate that the event had a magnitude of 5.5 and was located in the Virgin Islands.
Ash levels were low at all stations today.
Residents should continue listening to Radio Montserrat in case there are sudden developments in the state of the volcano.
