Volcanic activity has remained at a low level today. Between 4 p.m. yesterday and 4 p.m. today 6 volcano-tectonic earthquakes, one rockfall signal, and one hybrid earthquake were recorded.
A group of MVO scientists visited the deposits of the Boxing Day collapse today to try and further our understanding of that event.
Dust levels were low at all sites today.
