The level of volcanic activity over the past 24 hours has remained low.
Between 4pm yesterday and 4pm today 8 rockfall signals were recorded on the seismic network. The largest of these was due to a small pyroclastic flow in the Tar River valley. It is estimated that this flow got as far as the old Tar River estate house.
A strong mudflow signal was recorded on the Lee's Yard seismometer at 1730 and is continuing at the time of writing. The probable route for this mudflow is the Belham valley.
Dust levels at all monitoring stations were low today.
Residents are reminded to keep listening to Radio Montserrat for any further information.
