Seismic activity and dust levels at all monitoring sites were low today.
Between 16:00 yesterday and 16:00 today there were 12 hybrid, 7 long-period, 12 volcano-tectonic earthquakes and 26 distinct rockfall signals. There were peaks in rockfall activity between 6 and 8 pm last night and 4 and 6 am this morning. These peaks continue to occur every 10 to 12 hours. A small hybrid swarm consisting of about 9 events occurred between 3:18 and 4 pm this afternoon.
No clear views were obtained of the summit of the volcano today.
EDM measurements were made at Windy Hill today to a reflector on Peak B located on the flank of the volcano.
A temperature of 292o C was obtained yesterday at a depth of 1.2 m below the surface in the September 21st pyroclastic flow at Farms.
