Volcanic activity has remained at a slightly elevated level overnight, with several small to moderate sized rockfall signals recorded by the seismic network. A few large hybrids occurred between 11:30 last night and 2 o'clock this morning. These were followed by slightly enhanced rockfall activity which has continued up to the end of the reporting period. These rockfalls probably continue to occur from the growing dome within the scar left by the Boxing Day collapse on the south west side of the volcano.
Low clouds again obscure the volcano this morning.
