Seismic activity overnight has consisted of rockfall and a number of large hybrid events. Some of these rockfalls may have been preceded by long period events and this indicates that the dome is continuing to grow. The growth is still thought to be in the crater formed by the Boxing Day collapse. No mudflow signals were recorded on the network during this reporting period.
Cloud still obscures the upper parts of the volcano, although the cloud base does seem somewhat higher than of late so that opportunities for visual observations may be again possible today.
