Overnight the volcano has remained quiet. The few hybrid earthquakes being recorded occur near the peaks of an 8 hour cycle in the amplitude of the background seismicity. A few larger rockfall signals have also been recorded which confirms that the new dome is continuing to grow in the crater formed by the collapse on Boxing Day. Explosions and pyroclastic flows could occur with no further warning. Everyone is advised to listen to Radio Montserrat for further information.
