The volcano has remained relatively quiet overnight. There have been two more small swarms of hybrid earthquakes since yesterday afternoon and the 6 hourly cycles are continuing. A new dome is growing rapidly in the newly formed crater that formed by the collapse on Boxing Day. It is still possible that explosions and further pyroclastic flows could occur with no further warning. Everyone is advised to listen to Radio Montserrat for further information.
