Seismic activity overnight has been at a slightly elevated level, with rockfall activity giving the dominant seismic signals. A few of the signals have been significantly larger on the Long Ground seismic station than on St. Patrick's, suggesting that some of the activity may now be down the Tar River. There have also been a few large hybrid earthquakes. In these conditions, although the active growth area continues to be high up on the Galways sector of the dome, this could change quickly to other parts of the dome with little or no notice, and pyroclastic flows could occur down any of the ghauts on the volcano. Everyone is advised to listen to Radio Montserrat for any new information.
