The seismic activity was at a lower level overnight than it has been for the last few days. There continued to be hybrid earthquakes but these were smaller and further apart than was the case yesterday. There were also several rockfall signals recorded last night.
There is still a possibility of pyroclastic flows today, which could travel down Ghauts on any flank of the volcano. A substantial dome collapse could also initiate further explosions. Everyone is advised to remain alert and keep listening to Radio Montserrat for any new information.
