Activity at the volcano has again been at a low level overnight. Rockfall signals and long period earthquakes have continued at about the same rate as during yesterday. Dome growth is thus continuing in the area adjacent to Galway's Wall in the southwestern part of the crater.
Low cloud is currently covering the summit of the volcano, preventing views of the dome.
The volcano remains in a dangerous state and rapid changes in the level of activity are possible. Only essential visits should be made to Zone C, and people should wear ash masks when in ashy environments. All of Zone A, which includes Long Ground and St Patrick's, is very dangerous and should not be entered under any circumstances.
