An example of a Pass and Compass map of San Jaun Parangaricutiro and lava flow front. 3/4 of San Jaun Parangaricutiro was destroyed by lava from Pericutin. Our first mapping project was to map the towns remaining wall, church and lava with only a compass. This map was made by Carlos Pullinger.
