MT. KLYUCHEVSKOI VOLCANO

Observers in Kozirevsk west of the volcano noted a gas and steam
column rising 50 m above the summit crater on November 18.  Continuous
volcanic tremor with a maximum amplitude of 0.24 microns is being
recorded 14 km from the volcano.  One weak deep earthquake and nine
shallow events were recorded beneath the volcano.
