KLYUCHEVSKOY VOLCANO, Kamchatka, Russia 56o11' N, 160o47' E Saturday August 21, 1993, 24:00 KDT On August 20, the gas and ash plume was as high as 500 meters above the crater, extending to the south-east for about 2 km. Lava finished to flow dawn from the crater. According to the visual observations from helicopter on August 21-22, (Thomas P. Miller, V.Kirianov) the following volcanoes were at the stage of moderate fumarolic activity: Mutnovskii, Avachinskii, Karymskii, Zhupanovskii.
