Scar remnants
ofEspolón de Oro cone. It is assumed
that a horsehoe-like scarp was produced but was later destroyed and/or
covered by subsequent lavas of the present cone.

the left hand side show alternance of altered pyroclastic and brecciated
deposits with platy-jointed andesitic lava flows of the interior of the
Espolón de Oro former edifice.
