Great Lakes Study Group at Michigan Tech
The Lakes Remote Sensing Group is dedicated to understanding large scale
limnological processes associated with seseasonal changes in temperature,
dynamics of river plumes and wind-driven currents, and time scales of
sediment exchange between the water column and bottom. The availability of
new ocean color imagery has made it possible through multi-sensor analyses
to begin linking physical forcings with biological variability.
