During 2009-10, Dr Wayne Pennington was a Jefferson Science Fellow, working in Washington DC at the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US State Department.  Here he is seen with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and USAID Administrator Dr Rajiv Shah.  For the next five years, Pennington will continue as a Jefferson Science Fellow from his post at Michigan Tech.
