Central is an historic town site, a mine location from the early days of Keweenaw Mining, a Cornish heritage center and another spot to see the great Greenstone flow. One mineralogical highlight here is the abundance of greenstones in the amygdaloidal poor rock of the dumps. Most visitors will find this spot interesting and scenic.
